There are three ways to access FNB Mobile:

#With SMS access, you can check account balances and your recent account history (this is the quickest method of accessing FNB Mobile).

Currently, with both the iPhone/iPad App and WAP site, you can view account balances, transactions, transfer between your FNB accounts, and send payments to your existing BillPay payees.*** There will be an additional "Locations" feature added to the App and WAP site in the first quarter of 2011 which will give you the ability to find the nearest branch or allied ATM right from your phone!

#To begin setup for FNB Mobile access through WAP Browser or iPhone/iPad App, login to your First NetTeller account and go to the "Options" tab, then follow the steps illustrated below to get registered for the service:


Once you click "Submit," the following page will be displayed. Please read the agreement and check the box left of the acceptance statement if you wish to proceed with setup. Then click "Confirm."


If you will be using FNB Mobile through a mobile web browser, take note of the address:

After you click "Confirm," you should receive a message on the next screen stating that a confirmation was sent to the mobile device number you enrolled. If you properly entered your mobile device number and carrier information, you should receive a simple text message providing a link for mobile access and thanking you for enrolling. 

If you are going to access FNB Mobile through a mobile browser, you're done! Go to http://fnb-la.mobi and login using your First NetTeller credentials as you would on a computer. Keep in mind that your password is case-sensitive, you may be asked to answer your security questions, and as when accessing your account information through a public computer, you should always log out once finished. 

#Before you can access FNB Mobile through the iPhone App, you must proceed with the "Mobile Web" enrollment detailed here.

Once you install the App, you can proceed just as you would if using a WAP Browser, and if you didn't read this before when going through the initial setup: Keep in mind that your password is case-sensitive, you may be asked to answer your security questions, and as when accessing your account information through a public computer, you should always log out once finished.

To begin setup for FNB Mobile access through SMS: login to your First NetTeller account and go to the "Options" tab, then follow the steps illustrated below to get registered for the service.

 

Once you click "Submit," the following page will be displayed. Please read the agreement and check the box left of the acceptance statement if you wish to proceed with setup. Then click "Confirm."


After you click "Confirm," you should receive a message similar to this one (see below) on the next screen asking you to send a five-digit code to 89549. This step must be completed to properly pair your phone and First NetTeller account. If you are unable to send messages to or receive from 89549, you may need to check with your wireless carrier to see if they're blocking "short code access."


After you send the validation code to 89549, you will receive a return message from the same number with a list of commands, and you're done! All you have to do is send one of the short commands (such as bal) to 89549 any time you want to access your account information. If at any time you need a list of commands, send the word: HELP to 89549.

*To get started you must first be enrolled in FNB's Online Banking service, then you can activate your Mobile Banking.
**To pay bills you must be enrolled in FNB's Online Bill Payment service.
***There is no charge for FNB Mobile, but messaging, airtime, and data charges from your wireless carrier may apply.
